Livan Hernandez continued to assert himself as the Mets best option for the team’s number 5 starter against the Braves today. In 5 innings of work Livan gave up one run on 5 hits, no walks while striking out 3.
Hernandez who lowered his spring era to 3.07 is beginning to look like the Livan of two years ago who could be a workhorse for the Mets at the back end of the rotation.
