K-Rod to close at Citi?

Newsday is reporting the Mets and K-Rod are closing in on finalizing a three year contract, worth an estimated $36 million. The possible deal comes much earlier than expected, and could be the first major deal of these meetings.

A source familiar with the free agent has said that the deal is likely to be done in the next 24-36 hours.
