Castillo to the Reds?

Sources with ties to Cincinnati are reporting that the Mets and Reds have had preliminary discussions regarding a possible trade of Luis Castillo to the Reds. It is believed the Mets would have to pay most of Castillo’s remaining contract and in return would be receiving second basemen Jeff Keppinger, a former Met, and possible prospects.

The Reds are believed to be interested in shifting Joey Votto into the outfield to help replace the losses of Adam Dunn and Ken Griffey Jr, and then shift Brandon Phillips to first base.

Wow, that is absolute total horse shit. There is absolutely no way that they move BP anywhere. Ownership, GM, and Coach all agree that there is no reason to move a GOLD GLOVE winning 2b to another position (most often switch suggested is SS, 1b is laughable). All that does is weaken us at SS and 2b though. You are very off in this thought JJ.
