Mets' Pitchers Continue to Struggle

So much for a dependable outing from Livan, as the Mets got spanked today 12 to 8. The offense actually played pretty well today, especially Carlos Beltran who went 3-5 with a 3 run hr.

The Mets Achilles’ heal continues to be their starting pitching, and honestly there isn’t much that can be done. Other than Livan struggling over his next few starts, the rotation will remain unchanged for the next few months, leaving Dan Warthen trying to figure out whats wrong with Main, Perez, and Pelfrey.

If Livan continues to struggle Omar can always call on his old friend Pedro to join the rotation, or there is always Ben Sheets looming come August. Jonathon Niese doesn’t appear to be ready, so simply the Mets just need to get their act together.
