The Mets started the spring season with a bang yesterday defeating the O’s 9-3. Luis Castillo provided much of the offense going 2 for 3 with 4 rbis, Nick Evans went 3 for 4 while scoring three runs. Also chipping in with multiple hits each were Daniel Murphy, Angel Pagan, and Ryan Church.
As the last spot in the bullpen is still up for grabs Sanchez and De Los Santos both gave up an run each in their inning of work, while Brian Stokes was perfect in his.
