The Mets today will take on the Cardinals at one o’clock in PSL. Jerry Manuel has yet to announce what the lineup will be, but it will be a great time for players to secure the last few spots on the team as most of the regulars are with their respective WBC teams.
Additionally, yesterday the Mets came to terms with 13 players on the 40-man roster that were not arbitration eligible, all signing to one year contracts. This leaves 3 spots remaining on the 40 man roster that still need to be filled, and will most likely be filled by non roster invitees such as Ron Villone and Livan Hernandez.
