Abreu Signs with Angels

As predicted Bobby Abreu has signed a one year deal worth $5 million plus incentives with the Angels reports Jon Heyman of SI.com. The Mets had internal discussions regarding Abreu is his asking price went south of $4 million, but it comes as no surprise that someone jumped at him before that point.

With Abreu signing that leaves three top free agents left, Manny Ramirez, Orlando Hudson, and Adam Dunn. Dunn who is a lock for 100 rbis and 40 hrs a season is a well below average left fielder and would probably best be served to play first base or even DH. San Fran and Seattle seem like the best fits for him now.
